Well, I can be called a crazy candle holder DIY’er 😉
Hehe, yes I am again with a decor project with candles, of course, a little different 😛
Yes Wall Scones!!
So, couple of months back, I found a really cute mirror wall decor for 99 cents (2) and I couldn’t resist to buy. I was sure that it can look great with little make over. First I thought i will add little glitter and sequins. However, I wasn’t sure on where they can be hanged.
After some thought, I felt adding a candle holder is a better idea as the background has a nice mirror. May be I will add more color when I get bored of looking at these plain ones 😉
Most of the supplies are already on hand and the set costs less than $2.50.
Here is what you need:
Wall decor from 99c store or any other decor that you can transform
Candle holders (sorry they are not seen in the pic)
Strong adhesive(already on hand)
Acrylic paint (already on hand)
Let’s get started:
So the one I bought look like this:
Paint 2 coats, leaving 15 minutes to dry after each and after 2 coats they should look like the pic below
Time to add the candle holders, sorry I forgot the add them while taking the supplies pic. Glue the holder to the frame and leave it for 15-20 minutes to dry
And there you have a pretty looking wall scones ready to hang and fill some color and light 🙂
Have a great day!!

Well, inspired from these places, I started to DIY on budget and decorate our home. Whenever I posted pics of my projects on Facebook, everyone loved and gave many positive comments. Some of them also said I should not look for a job, instead start a blog or sell some of my projects ;) They thought I was doing something very cool!! That was a great motivation and I decided to tickle my creative senses to tame the stress monster ;-)
And then, one day here is my blog , where I share my ideas and projects with friends, family and all other aspiring DIY-er's :)
And if you like my blog, please come back and also don't forget to tell your friends :)
